No matter the season, our region offers a unique sensory experience, whether you’re a fan of gentle warmth or fierce storms!

CAP D’ERQUY & CAP FRÉHEL: WILD JEWELS OF BRITTANY

Staying in Brittany means discovering spectacular landscapes shaped by wind and sea. Among the most iconic natural sites in Côtes-d’Armor, Cap d’Erquy and Cap Fréhel offer a magnificent panorama of the English Channel and are among the finest coastal walks in Brittany, thanks to its GR34, voted the favorite hiking path of the French.

Majestic cliffs, wild moorlands, turquoise waters, and coastal hiking paths… Here, nature expresses itself with power and elegance.

ERQUY HEADLAND: BETWEEN PINK HEATHLANDS AND INFINITE PANORAMAS

The Cap d’Erquy captivates with its pink sandstone cliffs and breathtaking views. This 170-hectare protected natural site is the pride of the town. It offers stunning views of the Saint-Brieuc Bay, kilometers of well-maintained paths for environmentally respectful tourism that appreciates its richness, and has been classified since 1978 as part of the Natura 2000 network. This protected natural area hosts numerous plant species and is a haven for seabirds.

Ranked as a Grand Site de France since 2019, it is a must-visit for hiking enthusiasts in Brittany. The famous GR34, also known as the customs officers’ trail, runs along the cape and offers ever-changing landscapes throughout the seasons.

In spring and summer, the heathlands are adorned with vibrant colors. In autumn and winter, the light becomes raw, almost dramatic. Every walk becomes a unique sensory experience.
